What user permissions do I have as a Test Drive user?

We have granted Test Drive users nearly full administrator privileges.  In fact, you may be surprised that you’re not stopped from doing things like waiving fines or shuffling a holds queue.  Rest assured, Polaris permissions are very granular and our client libraries can define exactly who can do what in their respective and appropriate roles.

For the Test Drive we didn’t want to lock you out of any feature sets or burden you with constant override prompts.  In fact, there are only a handful of things you can’t do.  For example, we give you permission to view the System Administration feature, but it’s “view only.”  You’re prevented from making most types of Sys Admin changes.
