In Step ONE should have filled out the application form on our Sign Up page and received an email with your login credentials, so now we’re ready to connect to Polaris Leap.
Connecting to Polaris Leap
- Use any device: a PC, Mac, or even a tablet (iPad, Android, etc.)
- Open a browser (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
- Go here: https://testdrive.polarislibrary.com/LeapWebApp
- You’ll be presented with login prompts:
- Domain\Username: enter the username we emailed you
- Password: enter the password we emailed you
- Click/tap the “Sign In” button
- You’ll be presented with two more prompts:
- Branch: Hudson Public Library
- Workstation: TESTDRIVETERM
- Click/tap the “Continue” button
- You’re now logged in to Polaris Leap!
When You’re Done
Please log out when you’ve finished your Test Drive session. Here’s how:
- Click/tap on the username menu option in the very upper right corner of the Leap workspace
- Click/tap on the “Logout” option

Now that you’re connected it’s tempting to dive in and start playing with the software. But please take a minute to visit the Use Polaris page. You’ll find some sample data and barcodes that will help you as you do your test drive.
